1. 야곱이 그 아들들을 불러 이르되 너희는 모이라 너희가 후일에 당할 일을 내가 너희에게 이르리라

1. Then Jacob called for his sons and said: “Gather around so I can tell you what will happen to you in days to come.

1。ヤコブは息子たちを呼び寄せて言った。「集まりなさい。私は、終わりの日におまえたちに起こることを告げよう。

 

2. 너희는 모여 들으라 야곱의 아들들아 너희 아버지 이스라엘에게 들을지어다

2. “Assemble and listen, sons of Jacob; listen to your father Israel.

2。ヤコブの子どもたちよ、集まって聞け。おまえたちの父イスラエルに聞け。

 

3. 르우벤아 너는 내 장자요 내 능력이요 내 기력의 시작이라 위풍이 월등하고 권능이 탁월하다마는

3. “Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, the first sign of my strength, excelling in honor, excelling in power.

3。ルベンよ、おまえはわが長子。わが力、わが活力の初穂。威厳と力強さでまさる者。

 

4. 물의 끓음 같았은즉 너는 탁월하지 못하리니 네가 아버지의 침상에 올라 더럽형ㅆ음이로다 그가 내 침상에 올랐었도다

4. Turbulent as the waters, you will no longer excel, for you went up onto your father’s bed, onto my couch and defiled it. 

4。だが、おまえは水のように奔放で、おまえはほかの者にまさることはない。おまえは父の床に上り、そのとき、それを汚した。—彼は私の寝床に上ったのだ。

 

5. 시므온과 레위는 형제요 그들의 칼은 폭력의 도구로다

5. “Simeon and Levi are brothers — their swords are weapons of violence.

5。シメオンとレビとは兄弟、彼らの剣は暴虐の武器。

 

6. 내 혼아 그들의 모의에 상관하지 말지어다 내 영광아 그들의 집회에 참여하지 말지어다 그들이 그들의 분노대로 사람을 죽이고 그들의 혈기대로 소의 발목 힘줄을 끊었음이로다

6. Let me not enter their council, let me not join their assembly, for they have killed men in their anger and hamstrung oxen as they pleased.

6。わがたましいよ、彼らの密議に加わるな。わが栄光よ、彼らの集いに連なるな。彼らは怒りに任せて人を殺し、思いのままに牛の足の筋を切った。

 

7. 그 노여움이 혹독하니 저주를 받을 것이요 분기가 맹렬하니 저주를 받을 것이라 내가 그들을 야곱 중에서 나누며 이스라엘 중에서 흩으리로다

7. Cursed be their anger, so fierce, and their fury, so cruel! I will scatter them in Jacob and disperse them in Israel.

7。のろわれよ、彼らの激しい怒り、彼らの凄まじい憤りは。私はヤコブの中で彼らを引き裂き、イスラエルの中に散らそう。

 

8. 유다야 너는 네 형제의 찬송이 될지라 네 손이 네 원수의 목을 잡을 것이요 네 아버지의 아들들이 네 앞에 절하리로다

8. “Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you.

8。ユダよ、兄弟たちはおまえをたたえる。おまえの手は敵の首の上にあり、おまえの父の子らはおまえを伏し拝む。

 

9. 유다는 사자 새끼로다 내 아들아 너는 움킨 것을 찢고 올라갔도다 그가 엎드리고 웅크림이 수사자 같고 암사자 같으니 누가 그를 범할 수 있으랴

9. You are a lion’s cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness — who dares to rouse him?

9。ユダは獅子の子。わが子よ、おまえは獲物によって成長する。雄獅子のように、雌獅子のように、うずくまり、身を伏せる。だれがこれを起こせるだろうか。

 

10. 규가 유다를 떠나지 아니하며 통치자의 지팡이가 그 발 사이에서 떠나지 아니하기를 실로가 오시기까지 이르리니 그에게 모든 백성이 복종하리로다

10. The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his.

10。王権はユダを離れず、王笏はその足の間を離れない。ついには彼がシロに来て、諸国の民は彼に従う。

 

11. 그의 나귀를 포도나무에 매며 그의 암나귀 새끼를 아름다운 포도나무에 맬 것이며 또 그 옷을 포도주에 빨며 그의 복장을 포도즙에 빨리로다 

11. He will tether his donkey to a vine, his colt to the choicest branch; he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.

11。彼は自分のろばをぶどうの木に、雌ろばの子を良いぶどうの木につなぐ。彼は自分の衣をぶどう酒で、衣服をぶどうの汁で洗う。

 

12. 그의 눈은 포도주로 인하여 붉겠고 그의 이는 우유로 말미암아 희리로다

12. His eyes will be darker than wine, his teeth whiter than milk.

12。目はぶどう酒よりも色濃く、歯は乳よりも白い。

 

13. 스불론은 해변에 거주하리니 그 곳은 배 매는 해변이라 그의 경계가 시돈까지리로다

13. “Zebulun will live by the seashore and become a haven for ships; his border will extend toward Sidon.

13。ゼブルンは海辺に、船の着く岸辺に住む。その境はシドンにまで至る。

 

14. 잇사갈은 양의 우리 사이에 꿇어앉은 건장한 나귀로다

14. “Issachar is a rawboned donkey lying down between two saddlebags.

14。イッサカルは、たくましいろば、二つの鞍袋の間に身を伏せる。

 

15. 그는 쉴 곳을 보고 좋게 여기며 토지를 보고 아름답게 여기고 어깨를 내려 짐을 메고 압제 아래에서 섬기리로다

15. When he sees how good is his resting place and how pleasant is his land, he will bend his shoulder to the burden and submit to forced labor.

15。彼は、休息の地が快く、その地が麗しいのを見る。しかし、肩は重荷を負ってたわみ、苦役を強いられる奴隷となる。

 

16. 단은 이스라엘의 한 지파 같이 그의 백성을 심판하리로다

16. “Dan will provide justice for his people as one of the tribes of Israel.

16。ダンは自分の民を、イスラエルの部族の一つとしてさばく。

 

17. 단은 길섶의 뱀이요 샛길의 독사로다 말굽을 물어서 그 탄 자를 뒤로 떨어지게 하리로다

17. Dan will be a serpent by the roadside, a viper along the path, that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider tumbles backward.

17。ダンは道の傍らの蛇となれ。通りのわきのまむしとなれ。彼が馬のかかとをかむと、乗り手はうしろに落ちる。

 

18. 여호와여 나는 주의 구원을 기다리나이다

18. “I look for your deliverance, O LORD.

18。主よ、私はあなたの救いを待ち望む。

 

19. 갓은 군대의 추격을 받으나 도리어 그 뒤를 추격하리로다

19. “God will be attacked by a band of raiders, but he will attack them at their heels.

19。ガドについては、襲う者が襲うが、彼は、その者たちのかかとを襲う。

 

20. 아셀에게서 나는 먹을 것은 기름진 것이라 그가 왕의 수라상을 차리리로다

20. “Asher’s food will be rich; he will provide delicacies fit for a king.

20。アシェルには、その食物が豊かになり、彼は王のごちそうを作り出す。

 

21. 납달리는 놓인 암사슴이라 아름다운 소리를 발하는도다

21. “Naphtali is a doe set free that bears beautiful fawns.

21。ナフタリは放たれた雌鹿。美しい子鹿を産む。

 

22. 요셉은 무성한 가지 곧 샘 곁의 무성한 가지라 그 가지가 담을 넘었도다

22. “Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine near a spring, whose branches climb over a wall.

22。ヨセフは実を結ぶ若枝、泉のほとりの、実を結ぶ若枝。その枝は垣を越える。

 

23. 활쏘는 자가 그를 학대하며 적개심을 가지고 그를 쏘았으나

23. With bitterness archers attacked him; they shot at him with hostility.

23。弓を射る者は激しく彼を攻め、彼を射て苦しめた。

 

24. 요셉의 활은 드리어 굳세며 그의 팔은 힘이 있으니 이는 야곱의 전능자 이스라엘의 반석인 목자의 손을 힘입음이라

24. But his bow remained steady, his strong arms stayed limber, because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,

24。しかし、彼の弓はいつも固く張られ、彼の腕はすばやい。ヤコブの力強き方の手から、そこから、イスラエルの岩である牧者が出る。

 

25. 네 아버지의 하나님께로 말미암나니 그가 너를 도우실 것이요 전능자로 말미암나니 그가 네게 복을 주실 것이라 위로 하늘의 복과 아래로 깊은 샘의 복과 젖먹이는 복과 태의 복이리로다

25. because of your father’s God, who helps you, because of the Almighty, who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breast and womb. 

25。おまえを助ける、おまえの父の神によって、おまえを祝福する全能者によって、上よりの天の祝福、下に横たわる大水の祝福、乳房と胎の祝福があるように。

 

26. 네 아버지의 축복이 내 선조의 축복보다 나아서 영원한 산이 한 없음 같이 이 축복이 요셉의 머리로 돌아오며 그 형제 중 뛰어난 자의 정수리로 돌아오리로다

26. Your father’s blessings are greater than the blessings of the ancient mountains, than the bounty of the age-old hills. Let all these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince among his brothers.

26。おまえの父の祝福は、私の親たちの祝福にまさり、永遠の丘の極みにまで及ぶ。これらがヨセフの頭の上に、兄弟たちの中から選り抜かれた者の頭の頂にあるように。

 

27. 베냐민은 물어뜯는 이리라 아침에는 빼앗은 것을 먹고 저녁에는 움킨 것을 나누리로다

27. “Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning he devours the prey, in the evening he divides the plunder.”

27。ベニヤミンは、かみ裂き狼。朝には獲物を食らい、夕には略奪したものを分ける。」

 

28. 이들은 이스라엘의 열두 지파라 이와 같이 그들의 아버지가 그들에게 말하고 그들에게 축복하였으니 곧 그들 각 사람의 분량대로 축복하였더라

28. All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is what their father said to them when he blessed them, giving each the blessing appropriate to him.

28。これらはすべてイスラエルの部族で、十二であった。これは、彼らの父が彼らに語ったことである。彼らを祝福したとき、それぞれにふさわしい祝福を与えたのであった。

 

29. 그가 그들에게 명하여 이르되 내가 내 조상들에게로 돌아가리니 나를 헷 사람 에브론의 밭에 있는 굴에 우리 선조와 함께 장사하라

29. Then he gave them these instructions: “I am about to be gathered to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

29。また、ヤコブは彼らに命じた。「私は、私の民に加えられようとしている。私をヒッタイト人エフロンの畑地にある洞穴に、先祖たちとともに葬ってくれ。

 

30. 이 굴은 가나안 땅 마므레 앞 막벨라 밭에 있는 것이라 아브라함이 헷 사람 에브론에게서 밭과 함께 사서 그의 매장지를 삼았으므로

30. the cave in the field of Machpelah, near Mamre in Canaan, which Abraham bought as a burial place from Ephron the Hittite, along with the field.

30。その洞穴は、カナンの地のマムレに面したマクペラの畑地にあり、アブラハムがヒッタイト人エフロンから、私有の墓地とするために、畑地とともに買い取った洞穴だ。

 

31. 아브라함과 그의 아내 사라가 거기 장사되었고 이삭과 그의 아내 리브가도 거기 장사되었으며 나도 레아를 그 곳에 장사하였노라

31. There Abraham and his wife Sarah were buried, there Isaac and his wife Rebekah were buried, and there I buried Leah.

31。そこにはアブラハムと妻サラが葬られ、そこにイサクと妻リベカも葬られ、そこに私はレアを葬った。

 

32. 이 밭과 거기 있는 굴은 헷 사람에게서 산 것이니라

32. The field and the cave in it were bought from the Hittites.”

32。その畑地とその中にある洞穴は、ヒッタイト人たちから買った者だ。」

 

33. 야곱이 아들에게 명하기를 마치고 그 발을 침상에 모으고 숨을 거두니 그의 백성에게로 돌아갔더라

33. When Jacob had finished giving instructions to his sons, he drew his feet up into the bed, breathed his last and was gathered to his people.

33。ヤコブは息子たちに命じ終えると、足を床の中に入れ、息絶えて、自分の民に加えられた。
