1. 또 모세가 가서 온 이스라엘에게 이 말슴을 전하여

1. Then Moses went out and spoke these words to all Israel:

1。それからモーセは行って、次のことばをイスラエル全体に告げて、

 

2. 그들에게 이르되 이제 내 나이 백이십 세라 내가 더 이상 출입하지 못하겠고 여호와께서도 내게 이르시기를 너는 이 요단을 건너지 못하리라 하셨느니라

2. “I am now a hundred and twenty years old and I am no longer able to lead you. The LORD has said to me, ‘You shall not cross the Jordan.’

2。彼らに向かって言った。「私は今日、百二十歳だ。もう出入りすることができない。主は私に『あなたはこのヨルダン川を渡ることはできない』と言われた。

 

3. 여호와께서 이미 말씀하신 것과 같이 네 하나님 여호와께서 너보다 먼저 건너가사 이 민족들을 네 앞에서 멸하시고 네가 그 땅을 차지하게 할 것이며 여호수아는 네 앞에서 건너갈지라

3. The LORD your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua also will cross over ahead of you, as the LORD said.

3。あなたの神、主ご自身があなたに先立って渡って行き、この方があなたの前からこれらの国々を根絶やしにされ、あなたはこれらを占領する。ヨシュアが、主が告げられたように、あなたに先立って渡るのだ。

 

4. 또한 여호와께서 이미 멸하신 아모리 왕 시혼과 옥과 및 그 땅에 행하신 것과 같이 그들에게도 행하실 것이라

4. And the LORD will do to them what he did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, whom he destroyed along with their land.

4。主は、主が根絶やしにした、アモリ人の王シオンとオグおよび彼らの国に対して行ったように、彼らに対しても行われる。

 

5. 또한 여호와께서 그들을 너희 앞에 넘기시리니 너희는 내가 너희에게 명한 모든 명령대로 그들에게 행할 것이라

5. The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you.

5。主は彼らをあなたがたに渡される。あなたがたは、私が命じたすべての命令どおり、彼らに行わなければならない。

 

6. 너희는 강하고 담대하라 두려워하지 말라 그들 앞에서 떨지 말라 이는 네 하나님 여호와 그가 너와 함께 가시며 결코 너를 떠나지 아니하시며 버리지 아니하실 것임이라 하고

6. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

6。強くあれ。雄々しくあれ。彼らを恐れてはならない。おののいてはならない。あなたの神、主ご自身があなたとともに進まれるからだ。主はあなたを見放さず、あなたを見捨てない。」

 

7. 모세가 여호수아를 불러 온 이스라엘의 목전에서 그에게 이르되 너는 강하고 담대하라 너는 이 백성을 거느리고 여호와께서 그들의 조상에게 주리라고 맹세하신 땅에 들어가서 그들에게 그 땅을 차지하게 하라

7. Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance.

7。それからモーセはヨシュアを呼び寄せ、全イスラエルの目の前で彼に言った。「強くあれ。雄々しくあれ。主がこの民の父祖たちに与えると誓われた地に、彼らとともに入るのはあなたであり、それを彼らに受け継がせるのもあなたである。

 

8. 그리하면 여호와 그가 네 앞에서 가시며 너와 함께 하사 너를 떠나지 아니하시며 버리지 아니하시리니 너는 두려워하지 말라 놀라지 말라

8. The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

8。主ご自身があなたに先立って進まれる。主があなたとともにおられる。主はあなたを見放さず、あなたを見捨てない。恐れてはならない。おののいてはならない。」

 

9. 또 모세가 이 율법을 써서 여호와의 언약궤를 메는 레위 자손 제사장들과 이스라엘 모든 장로에게 주고

9. So Moses wrote down this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel.

9。モーセはこのみおしえを書き記し、主の契約の箱を運ぶレビ族の祭司たちと、イスラエルのすべての長老たちにこれを与えた。

 

10. 모세가 그들에게 명령하여 이르기를 매 칠 년 끝 해 곧 면제년의 초막절에

10. Then Moses commanded them: “At the end of every seven years, in the year for canceling debts, during the Feast of Tabernacles,

10。モーセは彼らに命じた。「七年の終わりごとに、すなわち免除の年の定めの時、仮庵の祭りに、

 

11. 온 이스라엘이 네 하나님 여호와 앞 그가 택하신 곳에 모일 때에 이 율법을 낭독하여 온 이스라엘에게 듣게 할지니

11. when all Israel comes to appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose, you shall read this law before them in their hearing.

11。イスラエル全体が、主が選ばれる場所に、あなたの神、主の前に出るためにやって来たとき、あなたはイスラエル全体の前で、彼らの耳にこのみおしえを読んで聞かせなければならない。

 

12. 곧 백성의 남녀와 어린이와 네 성읍 안에 거류하는 타국인을 모으고 그들에게 듣고 배우고 네 하나님 여호와를 경외하며 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 지켜 행하게 하고

12. Assemble the people — men, women and children, and the aliens living in your towns — so they can listen and learn to fear the LORD your God and follow carefully all the words of this law.

12。民を、男も女も子どもも集めなさい。あなたの町囲みの中にいる寄留者も。彼らがこれを聞いて学び、あなたがたの神、主を恐れ、このみおしえのすべてのことばを守り行うようにするためである。

 

13. 또 너희가 요단을 건너가서 차지할 땅에 거주할 동안에 이 말씀을 알지 못하는 그들의 자녀에게 듣고 네 하나님 여호와 경외하기를 배우게 할지니라

13. Their children, who do not know this law, must hear it and learn to fear the LORD your God as long as you live in the land your are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

13。これを知らない、彼らの子どもたちもこれを聞き、あなたがたがヨルダン川を渡って所有しようとしている地で、彼らが生きるかぎり、あなたがたの神、主を恐れることを学ばなければならない。」

 

14. 여호와꼐서 모세에게 이르시되 네가 죽을 기한이 가까웠으니 여호수아를 불러서 함께 회막으로 나아오라 내가 그에게 명령을 내리리라 모세와 여호수아가 나아가서 회막에 서니

14. The LORD said to Moses, “Now the day of your death is near. Call Joshua and present yourselves at the Tent of Meeting, where I will commission him.” So Moses and Joshua came and presented themselves at the Tent of Meeting. 

14。それから主はモーセに言われた。「今や、あなたの死ぬ日が近づいている。ヨシュアを呼び寄せ、あなたがたは会見の天幕に立て。わたしは彼に命令を下そう。」モーセとヨシュアは行って、会見の天幕に立った。

 

15. 여호와께서 구름 기둥 가운데에서 장막에 나타나시고 구름 기둥은 장막 문 위에 머물러 있더라

15. Then the LORD appeared at the Tent in a pillar of cloud, and the cloud stood over the entrance to the Tent.

15。主は天幕で雲の柱のうちに現れた。雲の柱は天幕の入り口にとどまった。

 

16. 또 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 네 조상과 함께 누우려니와 이 백성은 그 땅으로 들어가 음란히 그 땅의 이방 신들을 따르며 일어날 것이요 나를 버리고 내가 그들고 ㅏ맺은 언약을 어길 것이라

16. And the LORD said to Moses: “You are going to rest with your fathers, and these people will soon prostitute themselves to the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake me and break the covenant I made with them.

16。主はモーセに言われた。「見よ、あなたは間もなく先祖とともに眠りにつこうとしている。この民は入って行こうとしている地の異国の神々を慕い、自分たちのうちで淫行を行い、わたしを捨てて、わたしがこの民と結んだわたしの契約を破る。

 

17. 내가 그들에게 진노하여 그들을 버리며 내 얼굴을 숨겨 그들에게 보이지 않게 할 것인즉 그들이 삼킴을 당하여 허다한 재앙과 환난이 그들에게 임할 그 때에 그들이 말하기를 이 재앙이 우리에게 내림은 우리 하나님이 우리 가운데에 계시지 않은 까닭이 아니냐 할 것이라

17. On that day I will become angry with them and forsake them; I will hide my face from them, and they will be destroyed. Many disasters and difficulties will come upon them, and on that day they will ask, ‘Have not these disasters come upon us because our God is not with us?’

17。その日、わたしの怒りはこの民に対して燃え上がり、わたしも彼らを捨て、わたしの顔を彼らから隠す。彼らが焼き尽くされ、多くのわざわいと苦難が彼らに降りかかると、その日この民は、『これらのわざわいが私たちに降りかかるのは、私たちのうちに私たちの神がおられないからではないか』と言う。

 

18. 또 그들이 돌이켜 다른 신들을 따르는 모든 악행으로 말미암아 내가 그 때에 반드시 내 얼굴을 숨기리라

18. And I will certainly hide my face on that day because of all their wickedness in turning to other gods.

18。わたしはその日、彼らが行ったすべての悪のゆえに必ずわたしの顔を隠す。彼らがほかの神々の方に向かったからである。

 

19. 그러므로 이제 너희는 이 노래를 써서 이스라엘 자손들에게 가르쳐 그들의 입으로 부르게 하여 이 노래로 나를 위하여 이스라엘 자손들에게 증거가 되게 하라

19. “Now write down for yourselves this song and teach it to the Israelites and have them sing it, so that it may be a witness for me against them.

19。今、次の歌を書き記し、それをイスラエルの子らに教え、彼らの口にそれを置け。この歌をイスラエルの子らに対するわたしの証しとするためである。

 

20. 내가 그들의 조상들에게 맹세한 바 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅으로 그들을 인도하여 들인 후에 그들이 먹어 배부르고 살찌면 돌이켜 다른 신들을 섬기며 나를 멸시하여 내 언약을 어기리니

20. When I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, the land I promised on oath to their forefathers, and when they eat their fill and thrive, they will turn to other gods and worship them, rejecting me and breaking my covenant.

20。わたしが彼らを、彼らの父祖たちに誓った乳と蜜の流れる土地に導き入れるとき、彼らは食べて満ち足り、肥え太り、そして、ほかの神々の方に向かってこれに仕え、わたしを侮ってわたしの契約を破る。

 

21. 그들이 수많은 재앙과 환난을 당할 때에 그들의 자손이 부르기를 잊지 아니한 이 노래가 그들 앞에 증인처럼 되리라 나는 내가 맹세한 땅으로 그들을 인도하여 들이기 전 오늘 나는 그들이 생각하는 바를 아노라

21. And when many disasters and difficulties come upon them, this song will testify against them, because it will not be forgotten by their descendants. I know what they are disposed to do, even before I bring them into the land I promised them on oath.”

21。多くのわざわいと苦難が降りかかるとき、この歌が彼らに対して証しをする。彼らの子孫の口からそれが忘れられることはないからである。わたしが誓った地に彼らを導き入れる以前から、彼らが今しようとしている計画を、わたしはよく知っているからである。」

 

22. 그러므로 모세가 그 날 이 노래를 써서 이스라엘 자손에게 가르쳤더라

22. So Moses wrote down this song that day and taught it to the Israelites.

22。モーセは、その日、この歌を書き記してイスラエルの子らに教えた。

 

23. 여호와께서 또 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 명령하여 이르시되 너는 이스라엘 자손들을 인도하여 내가 그들에게 맹세한 땅으로 들어가게 하리니 강하고 담대하라 내가 너와 함께 하리라 하시니라

23. The LORD gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: “Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you.”

23。それから主はヌンの子ヨシュアに命じられた。「強くあれ。雄々しくあれ。あなたはイスラエルの子らを、わたしが彼らに誓った地に導き入れるのだ。わたしが、あなたとともにいる。」

 

24. 모세가 이 율법의 말씀을 다 책에 써서 마친 후에

24. After Moses finished writing in a book the words of this law from beginning to end,  

24。モーセがこのみおしえのことばを、その最後まで書物に書き終えたとき、

 

25. 모세가 여호와의 언약궤를 메는 레위 사람에게 명령하여 이르되

25. He gave this command to the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD: 

25。モーセは主の契約の箱を運ぶレビ人に命じた。

 

26. 이 율법책을 가져다가 너희 하나님 여호와의 언약궤 곁에 두어 너희에게 증거가 되게 하라

26. “Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God. There it will remain as a witness against you.

26。「このみおしえの書を取り、あなたがたの神、主の契約の箱のそばに置きなさい。その場所で、あなたに対する証しとしなさい。

 

27. 내가 너희의 반역함과 목이 곧은 것을 아나니 오늘 내가 살아서 너희와 함께 있어도 너희가 여호와를 거역하였거든 하물며 내가 죽은 후의 일이랴

27. For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious against the LORD while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel after I die!

27。私は、あなたがどれほど逆らう者であるか、うなじを固くする者であるかをよく知っている。見よ。私があなたがたとともに生きている今でさえ、あなたがたは主に逆らってきた。私の死後は、なおさらであろう。

 

28. 너희 지파 모든 장로와 관리들을 내 앞에 모으라 내가 이 말씀을 그들의 귀에 들려주고 그들에게 하늘과 땅을 증거로 삼으리라

28. Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officials, so that I can speak these words in their hearing and call heaven and earth to testify against them.

28。あなたがたの部族の長老たちと、つかさたちをみな、私のもとに集めなさい。私はこれらのことばを彼らに聞こえるように語ろう。私は天と地を彼らに対する証人に立てる。

 

29. 내가 알거니와 내가 죽은 후에 너희가 스스로 부패하여 내가 너희에게 명령한 길을 떠나 여호와의 목전에 악을 행하여 너희의 손으로 하는 일로 그를 격노하게 하므로 너희가 후일에 재앙을 당하리라 하니라

29. For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall upon you because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD and provoke him to anger by what your hands have made.”

29。私の死後、あなたがたがきっと堕落して、私があなたがたに命じた道から外れること、また、後の日に、わざわいがあなたがたに降りかかることを私はよく知っているからだ。それは、あなたがたが主の目に悪であることを行い、あなたがたの手のわざによって主の怒りを引き起こすからである。」

 

30. 그리고 모세가 이스라엘 총회에 이 노래의 말씀을 끝까지 읽어 들리니라

30. And Moses recited the words of this song from beginning to end in the hearing of the whole assembly of Israel:

30。モーセはイスラエルの集会全体に聞こえるように、次の歌のことばを終わりまで唱えた。
