1. 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와의 자녀이니 죽은 자를 위하여 자기 몸을 베지 말며 눈썹 사이 이마 위의 털을 밀지 말라

1. You are the children of the LORD your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your heads for the dead,

1。あなたがたは、あなたがたの神、主の子どもである。死人のために自分の身を傷つけたり、また額を剃り上げたりしてはならない。

 

2. 너는 네 하나님 여호와의 성민이라 여호와께서 지상 만민 중에서 너를 택하여 자기 기업의 백성으로 삼으셨느니라

2. for you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the LORD has chosen you to be his treasured possession.

2。あなたは、あなたの神、主の聖なる民だからである。主は地の面のあらゆる民の中からあなたを選んで、ご自分の宝の民とされた。

 

3. 너는 가증한 것은 무엇이든지 먹지 말라

3. Do not eat any detestable thing.

3。あなたは、忌み嫌うべきものは、どのようなものも食べてはならない。

 

4. 너희가 먹을 만한 짐승은 이러하니 곧 소와 양과 염소와

4. These are the animals you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,

4。あなたがたが食べてもよい動物は牛、羊、やぎ、

 

5. 사슴과 노루와 불그스름한 사슴과 산 염소와 볼기가 흰 노루와 뿔이 긴 사슴과 산양들이라

5. the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope and the mountain sheep.

5。鹿、かもしか、のろ鹿、野やぎ、くじか、大鹿、野羊。

 

6. 짐승 중에 굽이 갈라져 쪽발도 되고 새김질도 하는 모든 것은 너희가 먹을 것이니라

6. You may eat any animal that has a split hoof divided in two and that chews the cud.

6。ひづめが分かれ、完全に二つに割れているもので、反芻するものはすべて食べてもよい。

 

7. 다만 새김질을 하거나 굽이 갈라진 짐승 중에도 너희가 먹지 못할 것은 이것이니 곧 낙타와 토끼와 사반, 그것들은 새김질은 하나 굽이 갈라지지 아니하였으니 너희에게 부정하고

7. However, of those that chew the cud or that have a split hoof completely divided you may not eat the camel, the rabbit or the coney. Although they chew the cud, they do not have a split hoof; they are ceremonially unclean for you.

7。ただし、反芻するもの、あるいは、ひづめが分かれているものの中でも、らくだ、野うさぎ、岩だぬきは食べてはならない。これらは反芻するが、ひづめが分かれていないので、あなたがたには汚れたものである。

 

8. 돼지는 굽은 갈라졌으나 새김질을 못하므로 너희에게 부정하니 너희는 이런 것의 고기를 먹지 말 것이며 그 사체도 만지지 말 것이니라

8. The pig is also unclean; although it has a split hoof; it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses.

8。豚もそうである。ひづめは分かれているが、反芻しないので、あなたがたには汚れたものである。それらの肉を食べてはならない。また、それらの死骸に触れてもいけない。

 

9. 물에 있는 모든 것 중에서 이런 것은 너희가 먹을 것이니 지느러미와 비늘 있는 모든 것은 너희가 먹을 것이요

9. Of all the creatures living in the water, you may eat any that has fins and scales.

9。水の中にいるすべてのもののうちで次のものを、あなたがたは食べてもよい。ひれと鱗のあるものはすべて食べてもよい。

 

10. 지느러미와 비늘이 없는 모든 것은 너희가 먹지 말지니 이는 너희에게 부정함이니라

10. But anything that does not have fins and scales you may not eat; for you it is unclean.

10。ひれや鱗のないものはすべて、食べてはならない。それは、あなたがたには汚れたものである。

 

11. 정한 새는 모두 너희가 먹으려니와

11. You may eat any clean bird.

11。きよい鳥はすべて食べてもよい。

 

12. 이런 것은 먹지 못할지니 곧 독수리와 솔개와 물수리와 

12. But these you may not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,

12。しかし、食べてならないのは次のものである。禿鷲、禿鷹、黒禿鷹、

13. the red kite, the black kite, any kind of falcon,

15. the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,

16. the little owl, the great owl, the white owl,

16。ふくろう、みみずく、白ふくろう、

 

17. 당아와 올응과 노자와

17. the desert owl, the osprey, the cormorant,

17。森ふくろう、野雁、鵜、

 

18. 학과 황새 종류와 대승과 박쥐며

18. the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe and the bat.

18。こうのとり、鷺の類、やつがしら、こうもり。

 

19. 또 날기도 하고 기어다니기도 하는 것은 너희에게 부정하니 너희는 먹지 말 것이나

19. All flying insects that swarm are unclean to you; do not eat them.

19。羽があって群がるものはすべて、あなたがたには汚れたものである。それらを食べてはならない。

 

20. 정한 새는 모두 너희가 먹을지니라

20. But any winged creature that is clean you may eat.

20。羽のあるきよいものはすべて食べてもよい。

 

21. 너희는 너희의 하나님 여호와의 성민이라 스스로 죽은 모든 것은 먹지 말 것이나 그것을 성중에 거류하는 객에게 주어 먹게 하거나 이방인에게 파는 것은 가하니라 너는 염소 새끼를 그 어미의 젖에 삶지 말지니라

21. Do not eat anything you find already dead. You may give it to an alien living in any of your towns, and he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner. But you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.

21。あなたがたは自然に死んだものをいっさい食べてはならない。あなたの町囲みの中にいる寄留者にそれを与えて、彼がそれを食べるのはよい。あるいは異国人に売りなさい。あなたは、あなたの神、主の聖なる民だからである。あなたは子やぎをその母の乳で煮てはならない。

 

22. 너는 마땅히 매 년 토지 소산의 십일조를 드릴 것이며

22. Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year.

23. 네 하나님 여호와 앞 곧 여호와꼐서 그의 일므을 두시려고 택하신 곳에서 네 곡식과 포도주와 기름의 십일조를 먹으며 또 네 소와 양의 처음난 것을 먹고 네 하나님 여호와 경외하기를 항상 배울 것이니라

23. Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God always.

23。主が御名を住まわせるために選ばれる場所、あなたの神、主の前であなたの穀物、新しいぶどう酒、油の十分の一、そして牛や羊の初子を食べなさい。あなたが、いつまでも、あなたの神、主を恐れることを学ぶためである。

 

24. 그러나 네 하나님 여호와께서 자기의 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳이 네게서 너무 멀고 행로가 어려워서 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 풍부히 주신 것을 가지고 갈 수 없거든

24. But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the LORD your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the LORD will choose to put his Name is so far away),

24。もしあなたの神、主が御名を置くために選ばれる場所が遠くて、あなたの神、主に祝福していただくために運んで行くことができないほど、道のりが長いなら、

 

25. 그것을 돈으로 바꾸어 그 돈을 싸 가지고 네 하나님 여호와께서 택하신 곳으로 가서

25. then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the LORD you God will choose.

25。あなたはそれを金に換え、その金を包んで手に取り、あなたの神、主が選ばれる場所に行きなさい。

 

26. 네 마음에 원하는 모든 것을 그 돈으로 사되 소나 양이나 포도주나 독주 등 네 마음에 원하는 모든 것을 구하고 거기 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 너와 네 권속이 함께 먹고 즐거워할 것이며

26. Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice.

26。あなたは、そこでその金を、すべてあなたの欲するもの、牛、羊、ぶどう酒、強い酒、また何であれ、あなたが望むものに換えなさい。そしてあなたの神、主の前で食べ、あなたの家族とともに喜び楽しみなさい。

 

27. 네 성읍에 거주하는 레위인은 너희 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없는 자이니 또한 저버리지 말지니라

27. And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.

27。あなたの町囲みの中にいるレビ人をないがしろにしてはならない。彼は、あなたと同じようには相続地を割り当てられないからである。

 

28. 매 삼 년 끝에 그 해 소산의 십분의 일을 다 내어 네 성읍에 저축하여

28. At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,

29. 너희 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없는 레위인과 네 성중에 거류하는 객과 및 고아와 과부들이 와서 먹고 배부르게 하라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 손으로 하는 범사에 네게 복을 주시리라

29. so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

29。そうすれば、あなたと同じようには相続地は割り当てられないレビ人や、あなたの町囲みの中にいる寄留者や、孤児や、やもめが来て食べ、満ち足りるであろう。それはあなたの神、主があなたのすべての手のわざを祝福してくださるためである。
