1. 내 아들아 네가 만일 나의 말을 받으며 나의 계명을 네게 간직하며

1. My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,

1。わが子よ。もしあなたが私のことばを受け入れ、私の命令をあなたのうちに蓄え、

 

2. 네 귀를 지혜에 기울이며 네 마음을 명철에 두며

2. turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,

2。あなたの耳を知恵に傾け、心を英知に向けるなら、

 

3. 지식을 불러 구하며 명철을 얻으려고 소리를 높이며

3. and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,

3。もしあなたが悟りに呼びかけ、英知に向かって声をあげ、

 

4. 은을 구하는 것 같이 그것을 구하며 감추어진 보배를 찾는 것 같이 그것을 찾으면

4. and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,

4。銀のように、これを探し、隠された宝のように探り出すなら、

 

5. 여호와 경외하기를 깨달으며 하나님을 알게 되리니

5. then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.

5。そのとき、あなたは主を恐れることをわきまえ知り、神の知ることを見出すようになる。

 

6. 대저 여호와는 지혜를 주시며 지식과 명철을 그 입에서 내심이며

6. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

6。主が知恵を与え、御口から知識と英知が出るからだ。

 

7. 그는 정직한 자를 위하여 완전한 지혜를 예비하시며 행실이 온전한 자에게 방패가 되시나니

7. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,

7。主は正直な人のために、すぐれた知性を蓄え、誠実に歩む人たちの盾となり、

 

8. 대저 그는 정의의 길을 보호하시며 그의 성도들의 길을 보전하려 하심이니라

8. for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

8。公正の道筋を保ち、主にある敬虔な人たちの道を守られる。

 

9. 그런즉 네가 공의와 정의와 정직 곧 모든 선한 길을 깨달을 것이라

9. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path.

9。そのとき、あなたは義とさばきと公正を、またすべての良い道筋をわきまえ知る。

 

10. 곧 지혜가 네 마음에 들어가며 지식이 네 영혼을 즐겁게 할 것이요

10. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.

10。知恵があなたの心に入り、知識がたましいに喜びとなるからだ。

 

11. 근신이 너를 지키며 명철이 너를 보호하여

11. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.

11。思慮はあなたを守り、英知はあなたを保つ。

 

12. 악한 자의 길과 패역을 말하는 자에게서 건져 내리라

12. Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse,

12。それらはあなたを悪の道から、ねじれごとを語る者たちから救い出す。

 

13. 이 무리는 정직한 길을 떠나 어두운 길로 행하며

13. who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways,

13。その者たちはまっすぐな進路を捨てて闇の道に歩み、

 

14. 행악하기를 기”뻐하며 악인의 패역을 즐거워하나니

14. who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,

14。悪を行うことを楽しみとし、悪しきねじれごとを喜んでいる。

 

15. 그 길은 구부러지고 그 행위는 패역하니라

15. whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.

15。その進む道は曲がり、彼らは道筋を誤る。

 

16. 지혜가 또 너를 음녀에게서, 말로 호리는 이방 계집에게서 구원하리니

16. It will save you also from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words,

16。また思慮と英知は、あなたをよその女から、ことばの滑らかな見知らぬ女から救い出す。

 

17. 그는 젊은 시절의 짝을 버리며 그의 하나님의 언약을 잊어버린 자라

17. who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God.

17。この女は若いころの連れ合いを捨てて、自分の神との契約を忘れている。

 

18. 그의 집은 사망으로, 그의 길은 스올로 기울어졌나니

18. For her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead.

18。彼女の家は死へと、その道筋は死者の霊の国へと下る。

 

19. 누구든지 그에게로 가는 자는 돌아오지 못하며 또 생명 길을 얻지 못하느니라

19. None who go to her return or attain the paths of life.

19。この女のもとへ行く者はだれも帰って来ない。いのちの道に至ることはない。

 

20. 지혜가 너를 선한 자의 길로 행하게 하며 또 의인의 길을 지키게 하리니

20. Thus you will walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous.

20。こうして、あなたは善良な人たちの道に歩み、正しい人たちの進む道を守る。

 

21. 대저 정직한 자는 땅에 거하며 완전한 자는 땅에 남아 있으리라

21. For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it;

21。正直な人たちは地に住まいを得、全き人たちは地に生き残る。

 

22. 그러나 악인은 땅에서 끊어지겠고 간사한 자는 땅에서 뽑히리라

22. but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it.

22。しかし、悪しき者たちは地から断たれ、裏切り者たちは地から引き抜かれる。
