1. 그들이 예루살렘에 가까이 가서 감람 산 벳바게에 이르렀을 때에 예수께서 두 제자를 보내시며

1. As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,

1。さて、一行がエルサレムに近づいて、オリーブ山のふもとのベテパゲまで来たそのとき、イエスはこう言って、二人の弟子を遣わされた。

 

2. 이르시되 너희는 맞은편 마을로 가라 그리하면 곧 매인 나귀와 나귀 새끼가 함께 있는 것을 보리니 풀어 내게로 끌고 오라

2. saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me.

2。「向こうの村へ行きなさい。そうすればすぐに、ろばがつながれていて、一緒に子ろばがいるのに気がつくでしょう。それをほどいて、わたしのところに連れて来なさい。

 

3. 만일 누가 무슨 말을 하거든 주가 쓰시겠다 하라 그리하면 즉시 보내리라 하시니 

3. If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away."

3。もしだれかが何か言ったら、『主がお入り用なのです』と言いなさい。すぐに渡してくれます。」

 

4. 이는 선지자를 통하여 하신 말씀을 이루려 하심이라 일렀으되

4. This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:

4。このことが起こったのは、預言者を通して語られたことが成就するためであった。

 

5. 시온 딸에게 이르기를 네 왕이 네게 임하나니 그는 겸손하여 나귀, 곧 멍에 메는 짐승의 새끼를 탔도다 하라 하였느니라

5. "Say to the Daughter of Zion, 'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.'"

5。「娘シオンに言え。『見よ、あなたの王があなたのところに来る。柔和な方で、ろばに乗って。荷ろばの子である、子ろばに乗って。』」

 

6. 제자들이 가서 예수께서 명하신 대로 하여

6. The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them.

6。そこで弟子たちは行って、イエスが命じられたとおりにし、

 

7. 나귀와 나귀 새끼를 끌고 와서 자기들의 겉옷을 그 위에 얹으매 예수께서 그 위에 타시니

7. They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them.

7。ろばと子ろばを連れて来て、自分たちの上着をその上に掛けた。そこでイエスはその上に座られた。

 

8. 무리의 대다수는 그들의 겉옷을 길에 펴고 다른 이들은 나뭇가지를 베어 길에 펴고

8. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

8。すると非常に多くの群衆が、自分たちの上着を道に敷いた。また、木の枝を切って道に敷く者たちもいた。

 

9. 앞에서 가고 뒤에서 따르는 무리가 소리 높여 이르되 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 찬송하리로다 주의 이름으로 오시는 이여 가장 높은 곳에서 호산나 하더라

9. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!"

9。群衆は、イエスの前を行く者たちも後に続く続く者たちも、こう言って叫んた。「ホサナ、ダビデの子に。祝福あれ。主の御名によって来られる方に。ホサナ、いと高き所に。」

 

10. 예수께서 예루살렘에 들어가시니 온 성이 소동하여 이르되 이는 누구냐 하거늘

10. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?"

10。こうしてイエスがエルサレムに入られると、都中が大騒ぎになり、「この人はだれなのか」と言った。

 

11. 무리가 이르되 갈릴리 나사렛에서 나온 선지자 예수라 하니라

11. The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."

11。群衆は「この人はガリラヤのナザレから出た預言者イエスだ」と言っていた。

 

12. 예수께서 성전에 들어가사 성전 안에서 매매하는 모든 사람들을 내쫓으시며 돈 바꾸는 사람들의 상과 비둘기 파는 사람들의 의자를 둘러 엎으시고

12. Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

12。それから、イエスは宮に入って、その中で売り買いしている者たちをみな追い出し、両替人の台や、鳩を売る者たちの腰掛けを倒された。

 

13. 그들에게 이르시되 기록된 바 내 집은 기도하는 집이라 일컬음을 받으리라 하였거늘 너희는 강도의 소굴을 만드는도다 하시니라

13. "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"

13。そして彼らに言われた。「『わたしの家は祈りの家と呼ばれる』と書いてある。それなのに、おまえたちはそれを『強盗の巣』にしている。」

 

14. 맹인과 저는 자들이 성전에서 예수께 나아오매 고쳐주시니

14. The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.

14。また、宮の中で、目の見えない人たちや足の不自由な人たちがみもとに来たので、イエスは彼らを癒やされた。

 

15. 대제사장드과 서기관들이 예수께서 하시는 이상한 일과 또 성전에서 소리 질러 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 하는 어린이들을 보고 노하여

15. But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant.

15。ところが祭司長たちや律法学者たちは、イエスがなさったいろいろな驚くべきことを見て、また宮の中で子どもたちが「ダビデの子にホサナ」と叫んでいるのを見て腹を立て、

 

16. 예수께 말하되 그들이 하는 말을 듣느냐 예수께서 이르시되 그렇다 어린 아기와 젖먹이들의 입에서 나오는 찬미를 온전하게 하셨나이다 함을 너희가 읽어 본 일이 없느냐 하시고

16. "Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him. "Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read, "'From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise'?"

16。イエスに言った。「子どもたちが何と言っているか、聞いていますか。」イエスは言われた。「聞いています。『幼子たち、乳飲み子たちの口に通して、あなたは誉れを打ち立てられました』とあるのを、あなたがたは読んだことがないのですか。」

 

17. 그들을 떠나 성 밖으로 베다니에 가서 거기서 유하시니라

17. And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.

17。イエスは彼らを後に残し、都を出てベタニアに行き、そこに泊まられた。

 

18. 이른 아침에 성으로 ㄷ르어오실 때에 시장하신지라

18. Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry.

18。さて、朝早く都に帰る途中、イエスは空腹を覚えられた。

 

19. 길 가에서 한 무화과나무를 보시고 그리로 가사 잎사귀 밖에 아무 것도 찾지 못하시고 나무에게 이르시되 이제부터 영원토록 네가 열매를 맺지 못하리라 하시니 무화과나무가 곧 마른지라

19. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.

19。道端に一本のいちじくの木が見えたので、そこで行って見ると、葉があるだけで、ほかには何もなかった。それでイエスはその木に「今後いつまでも、おまえの実はならないように」と言われた。すると、たちまちいちじくの木は枯れた。

 

20. 제자들이 보고 이상히 여겨 이르되 무화과나무가 어찌하여 곧 말랐나이까

20. When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked.

20。弟子たちはこれを見て驚き「どうして、すぐにいちじくの木が枯れたのでしょうか」と言った。

 

21. 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 만일 너희가 믿음이 있고 의심하지 아니하면 이 무화과나무에게 된 이런 일만 할 뿐 아니라 이 산더러 들려 바다에 던져지라 하여도 될 것이요

21. Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.

21。イエスは答えられた。「まことに、あなたがたに言います。もし、あなたがたが信じて疑わないなら、いちじくの木に起こったことを起こせるだけでなく、この山に向かい、『立ち上がって、海に入れ』と言えば、そのとおりになります。

 

22. 너희가 기도할 때에 무엇이든지 믿고 구하는 것은 다 받으리라 하시니라

22. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

22。あなたがたは、信じて祈り求めるものは何でも受けることになります。」

 

23. 예수께서 성전에 들어가 가르치실세 대제사장들과 백성의 장로들이 나아와 이르되 네가 무슨 권위로 이런 일을 하느냐 또 누가 이 권위를 주었느냐

23. Jesus entered the temple courts, and, while he was teaching, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him. "By what authority are you doing these things?" they asked. "And who gave you this authority?"

23。それからイエスが宮に入って教えておられると、祭司長たちや民の長老たちがイエスのもとに来て言った。「何の権威によって、これらのことをしているのですか。だれがあなたにその権威を授けたのですか。」

 

24. 예수께서 대답하시되 나도 한 말을 너희에게 물으리니 너희가 대답하면 나도 무슨 권위로 이런 일을 하는지 이르리라

24. Jesus replied, "I will also ask you one question. If you answer me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

24。イエスは彼らに答えられた。「わたしも一言尋ねましょう。それにあなたがたが答えるなら、わたしも、何の権威によってこれらのことをしているのか言いましょう。

 

25. 요한의 세례가 어디로부터 왔느냐 하늘로부터냐 사람으로부터냐 그들이 서로 의논하여 이르되 만일 하늘로부터라 하면 어찌하여 그를 믿지 아니하였느냐 할 것이요

25. John's baptism—where did it come from? Was it from heaven, or from men?" They discussed it among themselves and said, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask, 'Then why didn't you believe him?'

25。ヨハネのバプテスマは、どこから来たものですか。天からですか、それとも人からですか。」すると彼らは論じ合った。「もし天からと言えば、それならなぜヨハネを信じなかったのかと言うだろう。

 

26. 만일 사람으로부터라 하면 모든 사람이 요한을 선지자로 여기니 백성이 무섭다 하여

26. But if we say, 'From men’—we are afraid of the people, for they all hold that John was a prophet."

26。だが、もし人から出たと言えば、群衆が怖い。彼らはみなヨハネを預言者と思っているのだから。」

 

27. 예수께 대담하여 이르되 우리가 알지 못하노라 하니 예수께서 이르시되 나도 무슨 권위로 이런 일을 하는지 너희에게 이르지 아니하리라

27. So they answered Jesus, "We don't know." Then he said, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

27。そこで彼らはイエスに「分かりません」と答えた。イエスもまた、彼らにこう言われた。「わたしも、何の権威によってこれらのことをするのか、あなたがたに言いません。

 

28. 그러나 너희 생각에는 어떠하냐 어떤 사람에게 두 아들이 있는데 맏아들에게 가서 이르되 얘 오늘 포도원에 가서 일하라 하니

28. "What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, 'Son, go and work today in the vineyard.'

28。ところで、あなたがたはどう思いますか。ある人に息子が二人いた。その人は兄のところに来て、『子よ、今日、ぶどう園に行って働いてくれ』と言った。

 

29. 대답하여 이르되 아버지 가겠나이다 하더니 가지 아니하고

29. "'I will not,' he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.

29。兄は『行きたくありません』と答えたが、後になって思い直し、出かけて行った。

 

30. 둘쨰 아들에게 가서 또 그와 같이 말하니 대답하여 이르되 싫소이다 하였다가 그 후에 뉘우치고 갔으니

30. "Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, 'I will, sir,' but he did not go.

30。その人は弟のところに来て、同じように言った。弟は『行きます、お父さん』と答えたが、行かなかった。

 

31. 그 둘 중의 누가 아버지의 뜻대로 하였느냐 이르되 둘쨰 아들이니이다 예수꼐서 그들에게 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 세리들과 창녀들이 너희보다 먼저 하나님의 나라에 들어가리라

31. "Which of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered. Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.

31。二人のうちのどちらが父の願ったとおりにしたのでしょうか。」彼らは言った。「兄です。」イエスは彼らに言われた。「まことに、あなたがたに言います。取税人たちや遊女たちが、あなたがたより先に神の国に入ります。

 

32. 요한이 의의 도로 너희에게 왔거늘 너희는 그를 믿지 아니하였으되 세리와 창녀는 믿었으며 너희는 이것을 보고도 끝내 뉘우쳐 믿지 아니하였도다

32. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.

32。なぜなら、ヨハネがあなたがたのところに来て義の道を示したのに、あなたがたは信じず、主税人たちや遊女たちは信じたからです。あなたがたはそれを見ても、後で思い直して信じることをしませんでした。

 

33. 다른 한 비유를 들으라 한 집 주인의 포도원을 만들어 산울타리로 두루고 거기에 집 짜는 틀을 만들고 망대를 짓고 농부들에게 세로 주고 타국에 갔더니

33. "Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and went away on a journey.

33。もう一つのたとえを聞きなさい。ある家の主人がいた。彼はぶどう園を造って垣根を巡らし、その中に踏み場を堀り、見張りやぐらを建て、それを農夫たちに貸して旅に出かけた。

 

34. 열매 거둘 때가 가까우매 그 열매를 받으려고 자기 종들을 농부들에게 보내니

34. When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit.

34。収穫の時が近づいたので、主人は自分の収穫を受け取ろうとして、農夫たちのところにしもべたちを分を受け取ろうとして、農夫たちのところへしもべたちを遣わした。

 

35. 농부들이 종들을 잡아 하나는 심히 때리고 하나는 죽이고 하나는 돌로 쳤거늘

35. "The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.

35。ところが、農夫たちはそのしもべたちを捕らえて、一人を打ちたたき、一人を殺し、一人を石打にした。

 

36. 다시 다른 종들을 처음보다 많이 보내니 그들에게도 그러헥 하였는지라

36. Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way.

36。主人は、前よりも多くの、別のしもべたちを再び遣わしたが、農夫たちは彼らにも同じようにした。

 

37. 후에 자기 아들을 보내며 이르되 그들이 내 아들은 존대하리라 하였더니

37. Last of all, he sent his son to them. 'They will respect my son,' he said.

37。その後、主人は『私の息子なら敬ってくれるだろう』と言って、息子を彼らのところに遣わした。

 

38. 농부들이 그 아들을 보고 서로 말하되 이는 상속자니 자 죽이고 그의 유산을 차지하자 하고

38. "But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance.'

38。すると農夫たちは、その息子を見て、『あれは跡取りだ。さあ、あれを殺して、あれの相続財産を手に入れよう』と話し合った。

 

39. 이에 잡아 포도원 밖에 내쫓아 죽였느니라

39. So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

39。そして彼を捕らえ、ぶどう園の外に放り出して殺してしまった。

 

40. 그러면 포도원 주인이 올 때에 그 농부들을 어떻게 하겠느냐

40. "Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?"

40。ぶどう園の主人が帰って来たら、その農夫たちをどうするでしょうか。」

 

41. 그들이 말하되 그 악한 자들을 진멸하고 포도원은 제 때에 열매를 바칠만한 다른 농부들에게 세로 줄지니이다

41. "He will bring those wretches to a wretched end," they replied, "and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time."

41。彼らはイエスに言った。「その悪者どもを情け容赦なく滅ぼして、そのぶどう園を、収穫の時が来れば収穫を納める別の農夫たちに貸すでしょう。」

 

42. 예수께서 이르시되 너희가 성경에 건축자들이 버린 돌이 모퉁이의 머릿돌이 되었나니 이것은 주로 말미암아 된 것이요 우리 눈에 기이하도다 함을 읽어 본 일이 없느냐

42. Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: "'The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?

42。イエスは彼らに言われた。「あなたがたは、聖書に次のようにあるのを読んだことがないのですか。『家を建てる者たちが捨てた石、それが要の石となった。これは主がなさったこと。私たちの目には不思議なことだ。』

 

43. 그러므로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 하나님의 나라를 너희는 빼앗기고 그 나라의 열매 맺는 백성이 받으리라

43. "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.

43。ですから、わたしは言っておきます。神の国はあなたがたから取り去られ、神の国の実を結ぶ民に与えられます。

 

44. 이 돌 위에 떨어지는 자는 깨지겠고 이 돌이 사람 위에 떨어지면 그를 가루로 만들어 흩으리라 하시니

44. He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom it falls will be crushed."

44。また、この石の上に落ちる人は粉々に砕かれ、この石が人の上に落ちれば、その人を押しつぶします。」

 

45. 대제사장들과 바리새인들이 예수의 비유를 듣고 자기들을 가리켜 말씀하심인 줄 알고

45. When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus' parables, they knew he was talking about them.

45。祭司長たちとパリサイ人たちは、イエスのこれらのたとえを聞いたとき、自分たちについて話しておられることに気づいた。

 

46. 잡고자 하나 무리를 무서워하니 이는 그들이 예수를 선지자로 앎이었더라

46. They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet.

46。それでイエスを捕らえようとしたが、群衆を恐れた。群衆はイエスを預言者と認めていたからである。
