1. 한나가 기도하여 이르되 내 마음이 여호와로 말미암아 즐거워하며 내 뿔이 여호와로 말미암아 높아졌으며 내 뿔이 여호와로 말미암아 높아졌으며 내 입이 내 원수들을 향하여 크게 열렸으니 이는 내가 주의 구원으로 말미암아 기뻐함이니이다
1. Then Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; in the LORD my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. 
1。ハンナは祈った。「私の心は主にあって大いに喜び、私の角は主によって高く上がります。私の口は敵に向かって大きく開きます。私があなたの救いを喜ぶからです。

2. 여호와와 같이 거룩하신 이가 없으시니 이는 주 밖에 다른 이가 없고 우리 하나님 같은 반석도 없으심이니이다
2. “There is no one holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
2。主のように聖なる方はいません。まことに、あなたのほかにはだれもいないのです。私たちの神のような岩はありません。

3. 심히 교만한 말을 다시 하지 말 것이며 오만한 말을 너희의 입에서 내지 말지어다 여호와는 지식의 하나님이시라 행동을 달아 보시느니라
3. “Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed.
3. おごり高ぶって、多くのことを語ってはなりません。横柄なことばを口にしてはなりません。まことに主は、すべてを知る神。そのみわざは測り知れません。

4. 용사의 활은 꺾이고 넘어진 자는 힘으로 띠를 띠도다
4. “The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength.
4。勇士が弓を砕かれ、弱い者が力を帯びます。

5. 풍족하던 자들은 양식을 위하여 품을 팔고 주리던 자들은 다시 주리지 아니하도다 전에 임신하지 못하던 자는 일곱을 낳았고 많은 자녀를 둔 자는 쇠약하도다
5. Those who were full hire themselves out for food, but those who were hungry hunger no more. She who was barren has borne seven children, but she who has had many sons pines away.
5。満ち足りていた者がパンのために雇われ、飢えていた者に、飢えることがなくなりません。不妊の女が七人の子を産み、子だくさんの女が、打ちしおれてしまいます。

6. 여호와는 죽이기도 하시고 살리기도 하시며 스올에 내리게도 하시고 거기에서 올리기도 하시는도다
6. “The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up.
6。主は殺し、また生かします。よみに下し、また引き上げます。

7. 여호와는 가난하게도 하시고 부하게도 하시며 낮추기도 하시고 높이기도 하시는도다
7. The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
7。主は貧しくし、また富ませ、低くし、また高くします。

8. 가난한 자를 진토에서 일으키시며 빈궁한 자를 거름더미에서 올리사 귀족들과 함께 앉게 하시며 영광의 자리를 차지하게 하시는도다 땅의 기둥들은 여호와의 것이라 여호와께서 세계를 그것들 위에 세우셨도다
8. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. “For the foundations of the earth are the LORDs; upon them he has set the world.
8。主は、弱い者をちりから起こし、貧しい者をあくたから引き上げ、高貴な者とともに座らせ、彼らに栄光の座を継がせます。まことに、地の柱は主のもの。その上に主は世界を据えられました。

9. 그가 그의 거룩한 자들의 발을 지키실 것이요 악인들을 흑암 중에서 잠잠하게 하시리니 힘으로는 이길 사람이 없음이로다
9. He will guard the feet of his saints, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness. “It is not by strength that one prevails;
9。主は敬虔な者たちの足を守られます。しかし、悪者どもは、闇の中に滅び失せます。人は、自分の能力によっては勝てないからです。

10. 여호와를 대적하는 자는 산산이 깨어질 것이라 하늘에서 우레로 그들을 치시리로다 여호와께서 땅 끝까지 심판을 내리시고 자기 왕에게 힘을 주시며 자기의 기름 부음을 받은 자의 뿔을 높이시리로다 하니라
10. those who oppose the LORD will be shattered. He will thunder against them from heaven; the LORD will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to his king and exalt the horn of his anointed.”
10。主は、はむかう者を打ち砕き、その者に天から雷鳴を響かせられます。主は地の果ての果てまでさばかれます。主が、ご自分の王に力を与え、主に油注がれた者の角を高く上げてくださいますように。」

11. 엘가나는 라마의 자기 집으로 돌아가고 그 아이는 제사장 엘리 앞에서 여호와를 섬기니라
11. Then Elkanah went home to Ramah, but the boy ministered before the LORD under Eli the priest.
11。エルカナはラマにある自分の家に帰った。幼子は、祭司エリのもとで主に仕えていた。

12. 엘리의 아들들은 행실이 나빠 여호와를 알지 못하더라
12. Elis sons were wicked men; they had no regard for the LORD.
12。さて、エリの息子たちはよこしまな者たちで、主を知らなかった。

13. 그 제사장들이 백성에게 행하는 관습은 이러하니 곧 어떤 사람이 제사를 드리고 그 고기를 삶을 때에 제사장의 사환이 손에 세 살 갈고리를 가지고 와서
13. Now it was the practice of the priests with the people that whenever anyone offered a sacrifice and while the meat was being boiled, the servant of the priest would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand. 
13。民に関わる祭司の定めについてもそうであった。だれかが、いけにえを献げていると、まだ肉を煮ている間に、祭司の子弟が三又の肉刺しを手にしてやって来て、

14. 그것으로 냄비에나 솥에나 큰 솥에나 가마에 찔러 넣어 갈고리에 걸려 나오는 것은 제사장이 자기 것으로 가지되 실로에서 그 곳에 온 모든 이스라엘 사람에게 이같이 할 뿐 아니라
14. He would plunge it into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot, and the priest would take for himself whatever the fork brought up. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh.
14。これを大鍋や、釜、大釜、鍋に突き入れ、肉刺しで取り上げたものをみな、祭司が自分のものとして取っていた。このようなことが、シロで、そこに来るイスラエルのすべての人に対してなされていた。

15. 기름을 태우기 전에도 제사장의 사환이 와서 제사 드리는 사람에게 이르기를 제사장에게 구워 드릴 고기를 내라 그가 네게 삶은 고기를 원하지 아니하고 날 것을 원하신다 하다가
15. But even before the fat was burned, the servant of the priest would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, “Give the priest some meat to roast; he wont accept boiled meat from you, but only raw.”
15。そのうえ、脂肪が焼かれる前に祭司の子弟がやって来て、いけにえを献げる人に「祭司に焼くための肉を渡しなさい。祭司は煮た肉をあなたから受け取らない。生の肉だけだ」と言うので、

16. 그 사람이 이르기를 반드시 먼저 기름을 태운 후에 네 마음에 원하는 대로 가지라 하면 그가 말하기를 아니라 지금 내게 내라 그렇지 아니하면 내가 억지로 빼앗으리라 하였으니
16. If the man said to him, “Let the fat be burned up first, and then take whatever you want,” the servant would then answer, “No, hand it over now; if you dont, Ill take it by force.”
16。人が「まず脂肪をすっかり焼いて、好きなだけお取りください」と言うと、祭司の子弟は、「いや、今渡すのだ。でなければ、私は力ずくで取る」と言った。

17. 이 소년들의 죄가 여호와 앞에 심히 큼은 그들이 여호와의 제사를 멸시함이었더라
17. This sin of the young men was very great in the LORDs sight, for they were treating the LORDs offering with contempt.
17。このように、子弟たちの罪は、主の前で非常に大きかった。この人たちは主へのささげ物を侮ったのである。

18. 사무엘은 어렸을 때에 세마포 에봇을 입고 여호와 앞에서 섬겼더라
18. But Samuel was ministering before the LORD — a boy wearing a linen ephod.
18。さてサムエルは、亜麻布のエポデを身にまとった幼いしもべとして、主の前に仕えていた。

19. 그의 어머니가 매년 드리는 제사를 드리러 그의 남편과 함께 올라갈 때마다 작은 겉옷을 지어다가 그에게 주었더니
19. Each year his mother made him a little robe and took it to him when she went up with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice.
19。彼の母は彼のために小さな上着を作り、毎年、夫とともに年ごとのいけにえを献げに上って行くとき、それを持って行った。

20. 엘리가 엘가나와 그의 아내에게 축복하여 이르되 여호와께서 이 여인으로 말미암아 네게 다른 후사를 주사 이가 여호와께 간구하여 얻어 바친 아들을 대신하게 하시기를 원하노라 하였더니 그들이 자기 집으로 돌아가매
20. Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the LORD give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the LORD.” Then they would go home.
20。エリは、エルカナとその妻を祝福して、「主にゆだねられた子の代わりとして、主が、この妻によって、あなたに子孫を与えてくださいますように」と言い、彼らは自分の住まいに帰るのであった。

21. 여호와께서 한나를 돌보시사 그로 하여금 임신하여 세 아들과 두 딸을 낳게 하셨고 아이 사무엘은 여호와 앞에서 자라니라
21. And the LORD was gracious to Hannah; she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the LORD.
21。主はハンナを顧み、彼女は身ごもって、三人の息子と二人の娘を産んだ。少年サムエルは主のみもとで成長した。

22. 엘리가 매우 늙었더니 그의 아들들이 온 이스라엘에게 행한 모든 일과 회막 문에서 수종 드는 여인들과 동침하였음을 듣고
22. Now Eli, who was very old, heard about everything his sons were doing to all Israel and how they slept with the women who served at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
22。さて、エリはたいへん年をとっていたが、息子たちがイスラエル全体に行っていることの一部始終を、それに彼らが会見の天幕の入り口で仕えている女たちと寝ていることを聞いていた。

23. 그들에게 이르되 너희가 어찌하여 이런 일을 하느냐 내가 너희의 악행을 이 모든 백성에게서 듣노라
23. So he said to them, “Why do you do such things? I hear from all the people about these wicked deeds of yours.
23。それでエリは彼らに言った。「なぜ、おまえたちはそんなことをするのか。私はこの民の皆から、おまえたちのした悪いことについて聞いているのだ。

24. 내 아들들아 그리하지 말라 내게 들리는 소문이 좋지 아니하니라 너희가 여호와의 백성으로 범죄하게 하는도다
24. No, my sons; it is not a good report that I hear spreading among the LORDs people.
24。息子たちよ、そういうことをしてはいけない。私は主の民が言いふらしているうわさを聞くが、それは良いものではない。

25. 사람이 사람에게 범죄하면 하나님이 심판하시려니와 만일 사람이 여호와께 범죄하면 누가 그를 위하여 간구하겠느냐 하되 그들이 자기 아버지의 말을 듣지 아니하였으니 이는 여호와께서 그들을 죽이기로 뜻하셨음이더라
25. If a man sins against another man, God may mediate for him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who will intercede for him?” His sons, however, did not listen to their fathers rebuke, for it was the LORDs will to their fathers rebuke, for it was the LORDs will to put them to death.
25。人が人に対して罪を犯すなら、神がその仲裁をしてくださる。だが、主に対して人が罪を犯すなら、だれがその人のために仲裁に立つだろうか。」しかし、彼らは父の言うことを聞こうとしなかった。彼らを殺すことが主のみこころだったからである。

26. 아이 사무엘이 점점 자라매 여호와와 사람들에게 은총을 더욱 받더라
26. And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with men.
26。一方、少年サムエルは、主にも人にもいつくしまれ、ますます成長した。

27. 하나님의 사람이 엘리에게 와서 그에게 이르되 여호와의 말씀에 너희 조상의 집이 애굽에서 바로의 집에 속하였을 때에 내가 그들에게 나타나지 아니하였느냐
27. Now a man of God came to Eli and said to him, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Did I not clearly reveal myself to your fathers house when they were in Egypt under Pharaoh?
27。神の人がエリのところに来て、彼に言った。「主はこう言われる。あなたの父の家がエジプトでファラオの家に属していたとき、わたしは彼らに自分を明らかに現したではないか。

28. 이스라엘 모든 지파 중에서 내가 그를 택하여 내 제사장으로 삼아 그가 내 제단에 올라 분향하며 내 앞에서 에봇을 입게 하지 아니하였느냐 이스라엘 자손이 드리는 모든 화제를 내가 네 조상의 집에 주지 아니하였느냐
28. I chose your father out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in my presence. I also gave your fathers house all the offerings made with fire by the Israelites.
28。わたしは、イスラエルの全部族からその家を選んでわたしの祭司とし、わたしの祭壇に上って香をたき、わたしの前でエポデを着るようにした。こうして、イスラエルの子らの食物のささげ物をすべて、あなたの父の家に与えた。

29. 너희는 어찌하여 내가 내 처소에서 명령한 내 제물과 예물을 밟으며 네 아들들을 나보다 더 중히 여겨 내 백성 이스라엘이 드리는 가장 좋은 것으로 너희들을 살지게 하느냐
29. Why do you scorn my sacrifice and offering that I prescribed for my dwelling? Why do you honor your sons more than me by fattening yourselves on the choice parts of every offering made by my people Israel?
29。なぜあなたがたは、わたしが命じたわたしへのいけにえ、わたしへのささげ物を、わたしの住まいで足蹴にするのか。なぜあなたは、わたしよりも自分の息子たちを重んじて、わたしの民イスラエルのすべてのささげ物のうちの、最上の部分で自分たちを肥やそうとするのか。

30. 그러므로 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 전에 네 집과 네 조상의 집이 내 앞에 영원히 행하리라 하였으나 이제 나 여호와가 말하노니 결단코 그렇게 하지 아니하리라 나를 존중히 여기는 자를 내가 존중히 여기고 나를 멸시하는 자를 내가 경멸하리라
30. “Therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that your house and your fathers house would minister before me forever. But now the LORD declares: ‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.
30。それゆえ—イスラエルの神、主のことば—あなたの家と、あなたの父の家は、永遠にわたしの前に歩むとわたしは確かに言ったものの、今や—主のことば—それは絶対にあり得ない。わたしを重んじる者をわたしは重んじ、わたしを蔑む者は軽んじられるからだ。

31. 보라 내가 네 팔과 네 조상의 집 팔을 끊어 네 집에 노인이 하나도 없게 하는 날이 이를지라
31. The time is coming when I will cut short your strength and the strength of your fathers house, so that there will not be an old man in your family line 
31。見よ、その時代が来る。そのとき、わたしはあなたの腕と、あなたの父の家の腕を切り落とす。あなたの家には年長者がいなくなる。

32. 이스라엘에게 모든 복을 내리는 중에 너는 내 처소의 환난을 볼 것이요 네 집에 영원토록 노인이 없을 것이며
32. and you will see distress in my dwelling. Although good will be done to Israel, in your family line there will never be an old man.
32。イスラエルが幸せにされるどんなときにも、あなたはわたしの住まいの衰退を見るようになる。あなたの家には、いつまでも、年長者がいない。

33. 내 제단에서 내가 끊어 버리지 아니할 네 사람이 네 눈을 쇠잔하게 하고 네 마음을 슬프게 할 것이요 네 집에서 출산되는 모든 자가 젋어서 죽으리라
33. Every one of you that I do not cut off from my altar will be spared only to blind your eyes with tears and to grieve your heart, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life.
33。わたしは、あなたのために、わたしの祭壇から一人の人を断ち切らないでおく。そのことはあなたの目を衰えさせ、あなたのたましいをやつれさせる。あなたの家に生まれてくる者はみな、人の手によって死ぬ。

34. 네 두 아들 홉니와 비느하스가 한 날에 죽으리니 그 둘이 당할 그 일이 네게 표징이 되리라
34. “‘And what happens to your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, will be a sign to you — they will both die on the same day.
34。あなたの二人の息子、ホフニとピネハスの身に降りかかることが、あなたへのしるしである。二人とも同じ日に死ぬ。

35. 내가 나를 위하여 충실한 제사장을 일으키리니 그 사람은 내 마음, 내 뜻대로 행할 것이라 내가 그를 위하여 견고한 집을 세우리니 그가 나의 기름 부음을 받은 자 앞에서 영구히 행하리라
35. I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his house, and he will minister before my anointed one always.
35。わたしは、わたしの心と思いの中で事を行う忠実な祭司を、わたしのために起こし、彼のために確かな家を建てよう。彼は、わたしに油注がれた者の前をいつまでも歩む。

36. 그리고 네 집에 남은 사람이 각기 와서 은 한 조각과 떡 한 덩이를 위하여 그에게 엎드려 이르되 청하노니 내게 제사장의 직분 하나를 맡겨 내게 떡 조각을 먹게 하소서 하리라 하셨다 하니라
36. Then everyone left in your family line will come and bow down before him for a piece of silver and a crust of bread and plead, “Appoint me to some priestly office so I can have food to eat.””
36。あなたの家の生き残った者はみな、銀貨一枚とパン一つを求めて彼のところに来てひれ伏し、『どうか、祭司の務めの一つでも私にあてがって、パンを一切れ食べさせてください』と言う。」
