1. 바리새인과 사두개인들이 와서 예수를 시험하여 하늘로부터 오는 표적 보이기를 청하니

1. The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.

1。パリサイ人たちやサドカイ人たちが、イエスを試そうと近づいて来て、天からのしるしを見せてほしいと求めた。

 

2. 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 너희가 저녁에 하늘이 붉으면 날이 좋겠다 하고

2. He replied, "When evening comes, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,'

2。イエスは彼らに答えられた。「夕方になると、あなたがたは『夕焼けだから晴れる』と言い、

 

3. 아침에 하늘이 붉고 흐리면 오늘은 날이 궂겠다 하나니 너희가 날씨를 분별할 줄 알면서 시대의 표적은 분별할 수 없느냐

3. and in the morning, 'Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.

3。朝には『朝焼けでどんよりしているから、今日は荒れ模様だ』と言います。空模様の見分けることを知っていながら、時のしるしを見分けることはできないのですか。

 

4. 악하고 음란한 세대가 표적을 구하나 요나의 표적 밖에는 보여 줄 표적이 없느니라 하시고 그들을 떠나 가시니라

4. A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Jesus then left them and went away.

4。悪い、姦淫の時代はしるしを求めます。しかし、ヨナのしるしのほかには、しるしは与えられません。」こうしてイエスは彼らを残して去って行かれた。

 

5. 제자들이 건너편으로 갈 새 떡 가져가기를 잊었더니

5. When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread.

5。さて、向こう岸に渡ったとき、弟子たちはパンを持って来るのを忘れてしまっていた。

 

6. 예수께서 이르시되 삼가 바리새인과 사두개인들의 누룩을 주의하라 하시니

6. "Be careful," Jesus said to them. "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."

6。イエスは彼らに言われた。「パリサイ人たちやサドカイ人たちのパン種に、くれぐれも用心しなさい。」

 

7. 제자들이 서로 논의하여 이르되 우리가 떡을 가져오지 아니하였도다 하거늘

7. They discussed this among themselves and said, "It is because we didn't bring any bread."

7。すると彼らは「私たちがパンを持って来なかったからだ」と言って、自分たちの間で議論を始めた。

 

8. 예수께서 아시고 이르시되 믿음이 적은 자들아 어찌 떡이 없으므로 서로 논의하느냐

8. Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, "You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?

8。イエスはそれに気がづいて言われた。「信仰の薄い人たち。パンがないからだなどと、なぜ論じ合っているのですか。

 

9. 너희가 아직도 깨닫지 못하느냐 떡 다섯 개로 오천 명을 먹이고 주운 것이 몇 바구니며

9. Do you still not understand? Don't you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?

9。まだわからないのですか。五つのパンを五千人に分けて何かご集めたか、覚えていないのですか。

 

10. 떡 일곱 개로 사천 명을 먹이고 주운 것이 몇 광주리였는지를 기억하지 못하느냐

10. Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?

10。七つのパンを四千人に分けて何かご集めたか、覚えていないのですか。

 

11. 어찌 내 말한 것이 떡에 관함이 아닌 줄을 깨닫지 못하느냐 오직 바리새인과 사두개인들의 누룩을 주의하라 하시니

11. How is it you don't understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees."

11。わたしの言ったのはパンのことではないと、どうして分からないのですか。パリサイ人たちとサドカイ人たちのパン種に用心しなさい。」

 

12. 그제서야 제자들이 떡의 누룩이 아니요 바리새인과 사두개인들의 교훈을 삼가라고 말씀하신 줄을 깨달으니라

12. Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

12。そのとき彼らは、用心するようにとイエスが言われたのはパン種ではなく、パリサイ人たちやサドカイ人たちの教えであることを悟った。

 

13. 예수께서 빌립보 가이사랴 지방에 이르러 제자들에게 물어 이르시되 사람들이 인자를 누구라 하느냐

13. When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"

13。さて、ピリポ・カイサリアの地方に行かれたとき、イエスは弟子たちに「人々は人の子をだれだと言っていますか」とお尋ねになった。

 

14. 이르되 더러는 세례 요한, 더러는 엘리야, 어떤 이는 예레미야나 선지자 중의 하나라 하나이다

14. They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

14。彼らは言った。「バプテスマのヨハネだと言う人たちも、エリヤだと言う人たちもいます。またほかの人たちはエレミヤだとか、預言者の一人だとか言っています。」

 

15. 이르시되 너희는 나를 누구라 하느냐

15. "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"

15。イエスは彼らに言われた。「あなたがたは、わたしをだれだと言いますか。」

 

16. 시몬 베드로가 대답하여 이르되 주는 그리스도시요 살아계신 하나님의 아들이시니이다

16. Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

16。シモン・ペテロが答えた。「あなたは生ける神の子キリストです。」

 

17. 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 바요나 시몬아 네가 복이 있도다 이를 네게 알게 한 이는 혈육이 아니요 하늘에 계신 내 아버지시니라

17. Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.

17。すると、イエスは彼に答えられた。「バルヨナ・シモン、あなたは幸いです。このことをあなたに明らかにしたのは血肉ではなく、天におられるわたしの父です。

 

18. 또 내가 네게 이르노니 너는 베드로라 내가 이 바석 위에 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라

18. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

18。そこで、わたしもあなたに言います。あなたはペテロです。わたしはこの岩の上に、わたしの教会を建てます。よみの門もそれに打ち勝てことはできません。

 

19. 내가 천국 열쇠를 네게 주리니 네가 땅에서 무엇이든지 매면 하늘에서도 매일 것이요 네가 땅에서 무엇이든지 풀면 하늘에서도 풀리리라 하시고

19. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

19。わたしはあなたに天の御国の鍵を与えます。あなたが地上でつなぐことは天においてもつながれ、あなたが地上で解くことは天においても解かれます。」

 

20. 이에 제자들에게 경고하사 자기가 그리스도인 것을 아무에게도 이르지 말라 하시니라

20. Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.

20。そのときイエスは弟子たちに、ご自分がキリストであることをだれにも言ってはならない、と命じられた。

 

21. 이 때로부터 예수 그리스도께서 자기가 예루살렘에 올라가 장로들과 대제사장들과 서기관들에게 많은 고난을 받고 죽임을 당하고 제삼일에 살아나야 할 것을 제자들에게 비로소 나타내시니

21. From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

21。そのときからイエスは、ご自分がエルサレムに行って、長老たち、祭司長たち、律法学者たちから多くの苦しみを受け、殺され、三日目によみがえらなければならないことを、弟子たちに示し始められた。

 

22. 베드로가 예수를 붙들고 항변하여 이르되 주여 그리 마옵소서 이 일이 결코 주께 미치지 아니하리이다

22. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!"

22。すると、ペテロはイエスをわきにお連れして、いさめ始めた。「主よ、とんでもないことです。そんなことがあなたに起こるはずがありません。」

 

23. 예수께서 돌이키시며 베드로에게 이르시되 사탄아 내 뒤로 물러가라 너는 나를 넘어지게 하는 자로다 네가 하나님의 일을 생각하지 아니하고 도리어 사람의 일을 생각하는 도다 하시고

23. Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."

23。しかし、イエスは振り向いてペテロに言われた。「下がれ、サタン。あなたは、わたしのつまずかせるものだ。あなたは神のことを思わないで、人のことを思っている。」

 

24. 이에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 누구든지 나를 따라오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따를 것이니라

24. Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

24。それからイエスは弟子たちに言われた。「だれでもわたしについて来たいと思うなら、自分を捨て、自分の十字架を負って、わたしに従って来なさい。

 

25. 누구든지 제 목숨을 구원하고자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나를 위하여 제 목숨을 잃으면 찾으리라

25. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.

25。自分のいのちを救おうと思う者はそれを失い、わたしのためにいのちを失う者はそれを見出すのです。

 

26. 사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 제 목숨을 잃으면 무엇이 유익하리요 사람이 무엇을 주고 제 목숨과 바꾸겠느냐

26. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

26。人は、たとえ全世界を手に入れても、自分のいのちを失ったら何の益があるでしょうか。そのいのちを買い戻すのに、人は何を差し出せばよいのでしょうか。

 

27. 인자가 아버지의 영광으로 그 천사들과 함께 오리니 그 때에 각 사람이 행한 대로 갚으리라

27. For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.

27。人の子は、やがて父の栄光を帯びて御使いたちとともに来ます。そしてそのときには、それぞれその行いに応じて報います。

 

28. 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 여기 서 있는 사람 중에 죽기 전에 인자가 그 왕권을 가지고 오는 것을 볼 자들도 있느니라

28. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."

28。まことに、あなたがたに言います。ここに立っている人たちの中には、人の子が御国とともに来るのを見るまで、決して死を味わわない人たちがいます。」
